Junkyard made some one-off custom soakers for me. not only do they look awesome but they are TANKS! 3 years and they still look brand new.

Been thinking about that for sometime now. How much did they set you back and how was the process? 

I'm all for drinking after the game but I have dropped good players off my team before for show up drunk. Hockey is a true love but you need to respect the game. It's real easy to get caught up in competition, alcohol can make it easy to make some bad decisions.

I was at the shop this week and Ken said that they have a 3 week wait for Re-Palm (if its only that) which isn't bad taking into account the quality of work.

I got those from beck and later traded them. They're really nice gloves i just couldn't get use to the slash guard but the overall fit i loved. I dropped off a batch of gloves at Pats to get most of the mods on these.

Forgive my ignorance but what is the advantage of tying your skates this way?

If you're paying for YOUR mods maybe they shouldn't be going for sale? I'd much rather buy a pair of gloves and get the mods I want done than buying gloves built to someone else's specs.

I feel in the same boat specially when you are looking for gloves made in canada have it be Warrior or easton. They are harder to come by and the at least for me i'm pretty specific on what I want. Some pairs I don't bother because i'd have to send them to have undone work and then done my way.
