Desharnais in full Warrior (looks like quite a few Habs players made the switch this year)

Can't tell what is number is.... MOAR BIGGER!!!
I think it has something to do with the shitty sightlines at outdoor games, makes it easier to recognize a player

Does anyone know when he does a Hossa cuff, does he modify the existing cuff or does he cut new foams? Would it be possible to get a cuff done on a pair of CCM 4r's or is it only doable with Warriors?

looks like the wilsons and weises are canadian for sure and the others overseas, based on the cuff, palm and print
I think all Franchise gloves are Canadian made. Never seen overseas Franchise.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say they're overseas based on the AX1 and the circle W being glued on and not stitched or screen printed.
I've also seen overseas Franchise gloves being sold locally (Montreal) labelled as "Franchise 2.0"

Mega's are my go to gloves and I've used a few different variations of them... I agree with kingfooj the index fingers feel roomier (that's where the padding is beefed up the most).
As for some other common specs on Mega's that are different:
-Some have a solid beefed up thumb instead of the Franchise thumb... Absolutely couldn't stand it.
-The big padding on the side of the hand (down the pinky) can get a bit annoying if you use grip sticks

Pink AX1's in Berlin... and possibly the most "Euro league" hockey picture ever.

Anybody can go on Alibaba and order a shipping container full of generic sticks (or major brand knockoffs) for 20 or so bucks a piece

^ should have gone into more detail. I agree with you about the jersey argument. PSH and TSR should most definitely be labeling these gloves as replica, they are losing a significant amount of their market, but possibly gaining more from people who want "Jagr" glove, but don't want to pay the authentic "Jagr" glove price.
Same idea as a signature model shoe or pro spec baseball bat imo... it would also be inaccurate to label most of the gloves as replicas because they (sometimes but not always) have the players actual specs, and are therefore mass produced rather than replica's (which would mean they are fake). It's more of an ethical thing. If anything, I would say it reflects incredibly poorly on Warrior rather than the stores selling them.

I have some Canadian and overseas Gallagher AX1s and you should see the difference...I'll post some pics in the Warrior gloves thread later tonight.
It'll be interesting to see if he sticks with Warrior after his fingers exploded in QR1s

Absolutely filthy.
BUT....
I'd say that there's no way in hell the NHL lets him wear them for the game because they're plastered with his personal trademarks

Some nice stuff, some interesting stuff, and some horrible stuff (namely the oversee's version of Pacioretty's glorious Canadian made franchises)
Posted by underworldeagle on 14 December 2015 - 01:52 PM in Pro Stock Hockey Gear
no carbon cuff and pinky, no number on the thumb and cuff is not long enough. alot wrong with psh's pacioretty gloves
Thinking about the patches. Is there anything off about these aside from not being made in Canada?
Also for Sharks fans there's one pair of Couture AX1 in the new colorway. Please buy them before I do.
Bingo.

The biggest disappointment has got to lack of striping on the pants....
anyone see a pic that shows whether or not they at least have a Habs logo on them?

Dumb observation, but during USA vs Canada I was wondering "How is the US able to have 'Bauer' go uncovered on the front of their helmets?" Sure enough, USA vs Sweden, white tape covering them all...surprised they didn't make them do it mid-game against Canada (I've seen that before)
I never quite understood that in international hockey... Can't have the helmet manufacturer visible on the front but you have the option to sell bumper sticker sized ads? Dumb.

The Tacks gloves look so much better without the backhand graphic
