Made the jump today with Pro Hockey Life 15% off deal saved me almost $200. Didn't realize how odd my feet looked until they showed me the scan. Can't wait to get them.

awesome! How long before you get them?

I'm in Winnipeg so they said we get them sooner than most because they're made here so should be 3-4 weeks. The guys there said they have had some within 2 weeks.

took 2-1/2 months from sizing to delivery, was nice to have the custom fitting center in San Jose at the local rink.

Yeah, ordered them when they switched from VH brand to True. Was on a waiting list for majority of the time, probably a good 4-5 weeks. Was a waiting game for sure. But well worth it!

So after a 19 day wait my skates arrived. After being told the wait time was going to be 4-5 weeks i was pleasantly surprised. Had edge tuuk holders installed and finally getting to see them, i had come to the conclusion that pictures do not do these skates justice. But god damn are they ugly. Right off the bat you could see the areas of the boot that they compensated for my ankle issues. After heating them up, some assistance getting my foot in the boot and lacing them up... i was in shock. Not a single hot spot, pain, tightness, discomfort... nothing.

I’ve been in top of the line skates for a majority of my life. I have an extremely high threshold for pain, i can usually tell if a skate is going to work or not as soon as i lace them up during the molding process.

I was a bit skeptical still during the molding process because i knew the the final test would be when i get on the ice. Fast forward 9 hours later, i lace em up with relative ease, despite how much the skate wraps in the area of the top 3 eyelets. Took 3 hard strides onto the ice and made a hard cut to my forehand. My eyes lit up and i couldn’t believe how they felt. The balance, pitch, wrap of the skate left me with nothing but confidence right from the get go. Little to no adjustments needed to be made. I haven’t been able to skate like this since i was in Swiss made 703’s.

I’m happy i went this route, I’m actually more pissed that i hadn’t taken the plunge sooner. These skates are the truth and don’t see myself second guessing them one bit.

One of us, one of us! I remember my first time skating on them. No pain, no break in time, just magic.

Have any shops in the states got their True stuff yet? I went to KO Sports just outside of Pittsburgh this past weekend and they said they were still waiting on everything.

Also, very poor customer service in trying on other skates, but that’s a story for a different thread...

I’m the only one who’s saying they’re really not comfortable and the forward pitch is pretty annoying. I’ve been skating in them for a few months now

That is extremely strange considering the boot is made specifically for your foot

Where do they hurt? If the pitch isn't for you, you can have it profiled.

Do you still have the option to get tuuk holders on them? Or do you have to order without the step holders and get Tuuks put on by your LHS?

Sorry to jump in, but can I order just new tongues through True, or do I need to go through my LHS?
