I want to get one of my gloves embroidered. However, the name embroidery I want is in a non-alphanumeric language: Chinese. I've talked with Pat and he told me that they cannot do that type of embroidery because they don't have the characters for it (?)

Does anyone have any idea what store might be able to do such a project?

Custom everything.

Was able to take the crest off of another 3.0 and leave it in playing condition without much trace of anything ever being there.  It's not perfect, but its pretty close.  This was an old Islanders practice jersey - tried a new technique this time using a garment steamer and it went really well.  Now just have to gain some serious weight to fit into a 58k goalie cut...

Look in the recent title of "tailored jersey" it turned out pretty well. I've also used a steamer with great results. Yours is much better, nice work.

I'll stop posting these but perfection is possible when removing crests from 3.0's... the steamer method has done a great job.

Thanks. They were a medium but fit really big.  I ditched them soon after putting them together, but they looked cool.

First off, sorry for the size of the pics. I got a pair of XS Maine Franchises for next to nothing, about $13 shipped I believe. Kidney pads were removed and the uppers were in rough shape.Took a pair of my girlfriends Jr. Large Easton one piece pants and disassembled them. Added kidney pads from the Easton's to the Franchise upper. Doesn't quite match, but turned out pretty well.

Yes. The way it is originally stitched made it near impossible to get rid of. I threw in the towel after the first letter.

Can't you just take the namebar part off? I've seen guys on here do that, not sure how labour intensive it is though.

Originally this was a calgary flames jersey. I had always wanted a praccy in the kelly green color. Unfortunately the only leaf's / marlies pro ones available were the st patty's day leafs. MLSE was asking $400 for a 3.0 one so instead i acquired a green calgary praccy removed the calgary crest and turned it into a leafs one. This is the result.

After a few months or so i realized it was more suitable to have the jersey as a marlies one as they still use this style. I took off leafs crest, nhl patch and size tag and had new ones sewn on again by a tailor and they did a pretty good job in my opinion. i believe it's the only kelly green marlies in existence right now until someone makes another.
