This was a very unexpected pickup but I believe it's an autographed, game-used Bauer One 75 from Pavol Demitra during his time with the Canucks. Looked up some of his other game-used stocks online and the taping/signature look pretty close.
Looks very consistent with the other Demitra sticks I've seen; down to his kids names written on the shaft. The Canucks store sold these for $10 or $15 once he left the team.

Was this stick shipped from Canada? The packaging looks like it was reused from a Sportchek shipment. Their boxes have perforated corners and rip easily during shipping.

What are our thoughts on Flare? Tons of guys are using them now, wider blade and doesn’t need profiling...
Has anyone on here sharpened a pair of Flare blades? Do you get an accurate reading with a traditional pro square (like Blademaster BR100) or do you need to buy their dedicated Blackstone pro square?

Started out here a few months back looking to replace some Eagle H34s, and came across these locally. Totally shredded. Sent them off to hockey menders to have the palms done. Sunday I'll clean the leather myself as I have a very good commercial leather cleaner and restorer.

I'll probably make a final decision about this after I clean them, but I'm considering dying them a bit darker tan, closer to the kangaroo color and then sealing it. Not concerned about messing up as I dye leather all the time, more about making them even heavier, which I don't think is a good idea.
