#29270 Easton Mako sticks

Obviously one would have to order six sticks, but saw that you can choose graphics (RS, Mako, S19 Pure) on custom Makos at PSHG now.Sorry if this is considered blasphemous, but I really wish Easton would release a non-white Mako, preferably all black. I'm a huge SE16 fan, since that's been gone I've been using EQ50 shafts and OPSs, tried the RS, too. I would love to essentially have a new SE16, but I don't like the all white.

Agree with RinkRat, not sure that the letters are consistent from what I've seen. What does seem to be correct is the sticker inside the top of the shaft on Easton sticks, which was mentioned by Kovey10 in the other thread.

I believe the main difference between the 7K and 8K is that the 7K does not have the "Hyper-X", or hyper-extension protection. I have the 8K's which are great. Have read that some prefer the 7K because of more mobility, but no first hand knowledge of that. The 6070's (like the ones on ebay) look like the 7K's to me, but sure that someone else can confirm. Hope that helps.Any difference between 8k and 7k and the 6070???

Something is screwed up on the NHL auction site, try searching for "pant" with their search function, I found the pants and shells on the third result page that way.same here
#14972 for those with pro stock nhl hockey pants
Posted by 1117 on 14 February 2012 - 04:33 PM in Pro Stock Hockey Gear
Reebok retail pants will have a 3cm patch on the back, pro stock pants will have a patch that's about 3" high.
Which model pants do you have?
Three pairs of Reebok MHP7000 pants (Sabres, Bruins and Habs blue Centennial), they all have the same NHL patches. Just measured them and they are actually 5 cm from top to bottom (so about 2 inches), thought they were a bit smaller than they are. Sorry for any confusion, I guess we meet halfway!

I would say it's approximately 3" high, check out the pants sale section, you will for sure see some photos.
Maybe placement is around 3'' (inches?) high up on the leg of the pants, but size of the patch is more like 3 cm from top to bottom I think..
Edit: unless it differs by brands, only have Reebok pro stock pants.

For someone like me living in Europe its pretty difficult to get hold of pro stock gear (and getting people to ship at reasonable rates) so I would imagine that that could account for some of the high prices. Although I agree that some of the recent prices are off the charts.
Maybe its the KHL guys buying NHL gear from him and using it
#12933 How to tell flex on pro stock sticks
Posted by 1117 on 04 February 2012 - 09:27 AM in Pro Stock Hockey Gear
I came across a Sheldon Souray stick it's a K I believ that's a 160 flex.....
Or 125 flex...? If the list above is correct.
Removed the plug on a A. Kostitsyn S19 I have and it was labeled 115 inside which seems correct in terms of flex. The code thats stamped on the back of the shaft is WC5Y10, but that doesn't seem to fit into the "alphabetical"-scale for flex. Is the flex letter written somewhere else? Thanks

Thanks Dupes!

No one particular favourite player today, but really enjoy following the skilled young guys on teams like the Oilers and Islanders.
