just need to vent.....
I hate it when members place an ad and then don't clear out their inbox. I recently had something I wanted to get but the seller's box was full. I let him know that I couldn't send a PM and then the next morning before I logged on he sold the item to someone else. it wasn't a Holy Grail item but it still......
I've had easy dealings with this member before so I'll just mark it up to a bonk but please people, if you're going to sell items, especially cool ones clear out your box BEFORE posting!
ok, I'm done.
always looking for non Reebok L & XL shells......

Sorry buddy. Didn't realize my box was close to even being full. I did clear and posted that I had cleared it and then waited.
yeah, I know but I don't get up early on Saturdays so it was probably early afternoon before I logged on. I didn't want to call you out because I know nothing was intentional but I've seen that a fair amount from other sellers too and just needed to get it out.

Honestly, I do not think I will ever understand people that sell items and will not provide pictures, or will only email/text pictures. It takes 3 minutes to host a picture here or on Photobucket and link it to the for sale thread.
Sorry, pet peeve.

+ a jillion
is it a mobile issue? I've only ever posted pics from my laptop.
I also hate the, "I'll post pictures tonight" and then the pics never appear. I might not be buying but I still like to "window shop"

Rant.
$172+CAD is absolutely ridiculous for a used practice jersey. Hence I was willing to pay for two at $160cad a piece but when that was shot down I had an WOW moment in my head that I almost paid $160+cad for a used practice jersey and spent $75+tax on the same brand and model jerseys here at the sens sale. Completely turned me off of that company and just buying in general. I talked to my connection about getting in a day early this year to the sens sale and think I'm going to get my client to buy all the pracy jerseys and turn them around for almost double the price!!!! Of course wont do that but just trying to make a point there's making a little money and then there's being completely ridiculous. Anyways only going to buy frim the sens sale from now on. Sick of the over priced, WAY OVER PRICED gear. BTW Buy stars stuff from Thom. His prices are fair and reasonable and he'll listen to reasonable offers.
Rant Over.
Hey Liddy,
While I understand where you're coming from, the company you were going to "overpay" for a practice jersey doesn't cater to the average gear collector who will wear the jersey in their drop in session. While I agree, that is a lot of money for a practice jersey, they are selling at collectors pricing and always have. There are other avenues of obtaining gear (like your sens sale your eluded to) at more reasonable prices. Way she goes bud!
- Always looking for new style stars gear, particularly Bauer!

Just wanted to throw in a +1 for Thom / StickFix. I doubt he's a secret around here, but he's great to deal with, carries a lot of cool shit and cuts deals outside of eBay.

for some reason visors are really stupid hard to find right now. tried to buy two bauer short and regular visors on other sites and jus got a refund and email "sorry no longer available"
guy on ebay who had some has disappeared. This is really frustratingly weird
Feel free to check out my hockey reviews, or random stuff

lol! I can tell you from me Ebay auctions that we're going through another patch where people want things for stupid-low prices.
How about, if you plan on negotiating with someone, making them take a boat-load of pictures, and get a shipping quote for you... Make sure that you do not have to back out at the last second because the price YOU negotiated is too expensive for you because of the poor exchange rate of your country's currency.
